I keep getting an error "the object invoked has disconnedted from its clients"

I have Windows XP and I am trying to use the Virtual
Painter software that I bought from Lowes. When I open
the software and try opening a photo to paint, I get a
run time error. It is the following error message:
"Run-time error'2147417847 (80010108)' Automation error
The object invoked has disconnected from its clients"
I have the cd creatore and they don't know why I am
getting the error. If anyone has any ideas I would
greatly appreciate it.

I don't know what is causing your error, but I'm suddenly getting the
same error from Excel when running some VBA macros in an application.
I wonder if it has something to do with February...naah must be a
coincidence. Still if I figure out why, I'll let you know.
