I have set 'track changes' How do I insert a paragraph

I have set 'track changes' to ON in Word 2007. How do I insert a paragraph
with bullet numbering on, as the existing numbering does not change after I
have inserted the new paragraphs.

9 inserted
10 inserted

9 existing

In prior versions of Word, List numbering and Outline numbering does not
automatically update when in Track Changes mode. If you want the numbers to
refesh, I believe that All Changes need to be accepted/rejected, but this
could negate the purposes of having the changes on.
This is for 2003 and prior, maybe different for 2007.

You have to use the Outline Styles or Quick Styles if you just type 9 10 etc
at beginning of your paragraph this is just text. Only autonumbering outline
styles show autonumbering changes with TRK turned on.
