i have been having problems with internet explorer, very slow getting pages

internet explorer is very slow nowadays, I have seen that others are also
getting this, is there something up with an update we might have downloaded?

I have all the antivirus and spam and what have you to keep my computer in
working order but still it is very slow when it comes to opening a webpage.

can anyone else shed some more light on the subject?
