I am working on a document in excel and there seems to be permanent footer.
I have attempted to delete it under Header/Footer. I have removed the custom
footer, but each time I try to Print preview the page it reappears!! I need
some assistance. Can anyone help??

Have you selected (none) from the dropdown list? That's the way to print
without a footer.

BTW, if you've created a custom footer, there's no way to remove it from the
list.

Thanks for responding! I have selected none from the footer dropdown list
but it keeps reappearing. As far as a custom footer. This is a company
template that our agency uses. We open it and "Save As" where we need it.
Why can't I just delete out the custom footer? There has to be a way to
remove it!!!!!

Is there a macro running that sets up the footer each time you print? Look in
the VB Editor (ALT+F11 to get there), and double-click on the problem
worksheet over in the project pane on the left.

Because Microsoft didn't provide that functionality.
