Using Comcast... pro account.. not sure how to do this as my router
was slow and comcast told me to assign it individually to the Hub/
DSL/ Cable router than sharing 1 IP address for the other 4 PCs..
advise ?

what you need is a switch, then plug in ethernet from the dsl modem to the
uplink port on the switch, plug the 5 computers into the switch and assign
the ip addresses to the computers, not the router.

Be careful using the uplink port, on some routers you have x amount of
ports, but using the uplink port uses one of these ports (i.e. you have an 8
port switch that has 8 ports and an uplink port. Using the uplink port
leaves port 8 physically available, but it really isn't available and you
will have problems if you use this for one of your computers.

How do I do that in the Computers With Win2k ? Do I set it in the
Network COntrol panel by putting the IP address only or do I need to
set Internet Explorer as well ?. Where can I find a place where I can
do this ?

Start, settings, control panel, right on your local area connection then
select "use the following ip address and fill in the appropriate info, then
select use the following dns server and put in the appropriate dns servers
