Basically i have 2 email accounts and i want to assign a signature to each
mail account. Unfortunately the drop down list only shows 1 mail address.
Also when i send emails or delete mails they all get sent to my main account
i.e. jonathan_taylor i have another account called library_systems. These are
work accounts i have to log on via jonathan_taylor then add the
library_systems account to this one.

Is this an Exchange account? Then you'd still only have 1 account but you
have multiple mailboxes with that account.
You can still have multiple signatures but you'll have to select which
signature you want to use when you want to send via the secondary mailbox.
If you've been given the proper permissions, you can also specify the From
address of the secondary mailbox when composing a message by selecting the
From field.

Thanks for your reply, i have already been using the methods as you
suggested. I thought maybe there would be a another way i.e. click on the
mailbox down the left hand side - click new - send the mail - then the mail
is sent from the selected mailbox rather than using the from field.

No, Exchange accounts do not work that way. The addin I pointed out does
offer that functionality though.
