I got two XP Home ED. operating systems when I start up my computer, but I
only want one. I like to use my wireless keyboard, but because the first XP
Home Ed. doesn't start up I would rather take it off considerig I want to
aviod future problems & the burden of moving the arrow key down to the 2nd XP
Home Ed. option; when I do this I need to use my other key board (not
wirelesss)just to move the arrow key down instead of just allowing it to
start up on its own. I am physically challenged & it is easier for me to use
my wireless keyboard. I want to do this now before I upload other sofware,
files, & before I personlize so I do not have to do it all over again (time
consuming).

Hello,

click Start -> Run -> boot.ini -> Enter . Then delete the entry you don't
need.

Hope this helps.

Ok, I could get to the->run, then do I type boot.ini in the search box?, but
I get a pop up window that states "Windows could not find "boot.ini" ". Any
suggestions?

That's because it isn't boot.ini.

Start>Run>msconfig [enter]

Look on the boot.ini *tab*. There is a button to click that will check
invalid operating system entries.

Hello,

I'm sorry, it's a typing error. Please follow Malke's solution.
For the other way, it would have been
Start -> Run -> C:\boot.ini -> Enter.

Sorry again.

Correct. It's always best to use a ps/2 keyboard, not a wireless one.
