You have a number of driver issues.

What is the make and model of your computer. Have you upgraded from an
earlier version of Windows to Windows XP?

Have you added new hardware? If yes details please.

Hope this helps.

I have a Intel D915gvwB motherboard with P4 HT. 512MB D333 RAM. One
SATA HDD and one IDE HDD. Plextor DVD Drive.

Just ran MEMTEST and Windows Memoey Diagnostic. Both show errors in
Memory. Planning to put in a new module and check if it really is a RAM
problem.

I dont have any new hardware Installed. It is just the basic Intel
CHipset drivers. Intel 10/100 Pro Lan drivers and the video drivers on
the Intel Driver CD.

Really lost.

Checking on your memory was a good move.

You did not answer these questions. What is the make and model of your
computer. Have you upgraded from an earlier version of Windows to
Windows XP? What is the actual version of Windows XP installed?

This link gives useful information:

This freeware programme is excellent for getting information about your

Tip: To copy select Report, Quick Report, Plain Text, highlight required
text, right click and select copy. However, whilst this is fine for
posting small amounts of information into newsgroup messages longer
reports will irritate other newsgroup subscribers.

Are there any yellow question marks in Device Manager? Right click on
the My Computer icon on your Desktop and select Properties. Hardware,
Device Manager. If yes what is the Device Error code?
