I get an Error Message and IE Shuts Down

I use a certain map program everyday. But when I use it
on my computer as soon as the map starts to download it
gives me an error message and shuts down everything. But
if I do it on the computer in the next room over it works
just fine. They both have IE 6.0. If anyone can help
that would be great. Thanks
