I get a local failure when calling EssVZoomIn

Hi
Can someone hel: I get a -6 error value when calling EssVZoomIn from vba. I run Excel 2010 but the file is saved as 97-2003
This is the call:
rc = EssVZoomIn("Data A", Null, ThisWorkbook.Sheets("Data A").range("$A$4"), 2, Null)
