Afternoon,

For those who's new Toshiba laptops have the new 1.8" hard drive
(models : 5GB - MK5002MAL (HDD1242) : 10GB - MK1003GAL (HDD1262) :
15GB - MK1504GAL (HDD1285) : 20GB - MK2003GAH (HDD1364) : 20GB -
MK2004GAL (HDD1422) : 30GB - MK3004GAH (HDD1384) : 40GB - MK4004GAH
(HDD1524)), I found an adapter to where you can connect it to a normal
3.5" IDE cable. It is NOT cheap ($95 plus shipping), but I did find
it, bought one, tested it and it works FINE.

Here is a link to the place I found it:

NOTE: These hard drives use the MCD-D50 Series by DDK Connectors that
was used in SOME Apple iPOD's. Where or not one could use this
adapter on these iPOD's is BEYOND ME. In short, if you tear open your
iPOD and it doesn't work...I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE!

Also NOTE: ICS does offer MANY other adapters.

Chris

P.S. I am not affiliated, associated, etc. with ICS in anyway or
form. I just found a real hard to find adapter and thought I would
pass it along to a group that might have a use for it. If this isn't
the group, let me know which one I should put this post at. Thanks
