I Do I get Rid of Google

Google plages my computer. The idea that is have to have a provider
is absurd and a rip off. The worst is I and forced to use google. I
downloaded and reinstalled Internet Explorer and chose yahoo but I
still have google. Plase help me get rid of google.

Do you have Google Toolbar installed?

I deleted it before I reinstalled Internet Explorer. Still when
internet explorer comes up a google search window is on the upper
right side of my screen.


I have an XP machine.

Click Tools, Manage Add-ons and disable the Google Toolbar. Also look
in Internet Options, General tab, Settings button, View Objects, for any
component of Google Toolbar. Remove the component.

Google Toolbar/BHO is probably resetting the configuration. Try what Elmo
said and post back.
