I did hit "Save Changes" and no changes were made

I spent a lot of time changing footnotes to a paper and hit "Save changes"
but when I checked my paper--no changes were made. Is the changed paper
somewhere else? I did it on Microsoft Word. I really do not want to do it
again but am afraid if I redo it after saving the changes again-it won't be
there? Help! Lin2

What kind of changes? Are you talking about Track Changes, or Ctrl-S?

If you're talking about Track Changes, is it set to display Final or
Original?

Was this the first time you saved the particular document? Maybe it
went to the My Documents folder instead of where you wanted it to be.
