Microsoft Outlook. Unable toopen the Outlook window. The set of folders could
not be opened." I uninstalled all of Office anfd reinstalled, all to no

Your mail profile appears to be pointing to a PST that it can't open. Use
Control Panel>Mail to see what PST your profile is trying to access and make
sure 1) that it exists and 2) that you have permission to access it.

We had the same error running Outlook 2003 on Exchange Server 2003 on Windows
Server 2003 after applying some MS-Windows Server patches. It appears that
one of these patches removed an "A" record from our DNS server. We added
back the DNS record and all is fine.

Try pinging the e-mail server. If you can ping by IP address, but not by
server name, this might be the problem.
