Hi Nicole,

This is due to the IsInstalled setting in the registry. This edit corrects
the value needed to enable the reinstall of IE.

Enable Reinstallation of Internet Explorer or OE (Line 114)

After running this edit, rename the CatRoot2 folder (Windows\CatRoot2) and
then go to Start/Run and enter %SystemRoot%\Inf. Locate the ie.inf file.
Right click it and select Install.

Or:

Go to Start/Run, and type :
rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132
%windir%\inf\ie.inf
