I cannot open web links from my emails in Outlook 2003

When I open a mail in Outlook 2003 which contain Hyperlinks, the web page
does not open. It does open, however, if the web link is in an attached file.
I have been unable to find a parameter to create the linkage. Where should I
look?
I am under Windows Vista Family Premium, Internet Explorer, and Outlook 2003
is part of Office 2003.

PS: No linkage problem if I use Internet Explorer directly.

Thanks in advance

What happens when you click on it? Nothing or does it open your home page?
Resetting IE as the default via Start-> Default Programs usually solves it.

Thanks, Robert. I reset IE as the default and it worked. I had not seen that
yesterday's post had been sent, since I had a Password problem.

That worked for me too. I did an automatic install a few weeks ago and
whatever it was, it disabled all the weblinks from my email. Thank you Thank
you Thank you. It's been very frustrating.
