I can not open hyperlinks from my e-mail.

I have used outlook for some years now, outlook in office 2000. Out of the
blue this week, the hyperlinks in e-mails have stopped working. I have not
played around with any settings etc, so not sure why it has done this. I have
not been able to fix it, could any one offer me some help, it sure would be
greatly appreciated.
