I am receiving multiple repeat copies of the same 1 email.

I received an email 2 days ago from a known contact. I have since read and
responded to the email but I continue to receive the same email over and over
again. It is not the sender or my email server, as I am not receiving the
same repeat email on my Blackberry. Is has to be something going on in my
Outlook. Has anybody else had something similar happen? If so, how did you
stop it?

Do you have a virus scanner installed which integrates itself with Outlook?
Uninstall this integration part of your virus scanner and try again; you'd
still be sufficiently protected by your on-access scanner part of the virus
