I am having trouble with the Event Template Database. Please help

I am a new user. I created a DB by using a template. We are selling tickets
for an event. The problem I am having is that wether we sell one ticket at a
time or tables of tem, the "Seats Available" field still only increments by
1. How can I add the number of seats sold to the form and have it decrement
properly? I appreciate any help at all. Thanks

I can;t find the template you are referring to. Perhaps you could explain
the situation, so a wider number of peole can help?
