I am a virgin to Excel

I am responsible for Paper products bought, I need to set up a spreadsheet
for purchases on a quartley basis to track spending per department (3).

Is there a template out there in webland that I can use instead of setting
up my own? Being I have no idea how to? I have never used excel obviously so
I need simple real simple to simply input numbers perpetually.

I took one class at the local college, unless I use a program daily I will
not retain what I learned.
Thank you.

It would be better if you get an experienced person to sit with you and help
you. This will of course cost. On the other hand (and especially with your
lack of knowledge) you are likely (with all due respect) not to know some of
the tricks and traps and the outcome is likely to be an inefficient
spreadsheet which needs continuous tinkering. Have a look at my
information sheet at www.1001solutions.co.uk/designing_a_spreadsheet.pdf for
some guidance.

My I suggest a BOOK? Something like Excel for Dummies to get you started. It
a good way to lose your Excel-virginity!
best wishes
