Hyperlinks on peer to peer network

In order to continue to develop while still allowing users access to the
data, I split my database so that the tables reside on my computer which is
also the server on a peer to peer network.

I set a field "Resume" as hyperlink. When I edit the hyperlink in the
"Resume" field in the database on my computer/server it is fine. When I copy
that database to another machine, it loses the hyperlink on that new
computer.

I notice that my link says C:\Shared and the other user's says
Server\Shared. Could that be the problem and is there a way around it?

Always use the UNC name.

\\servername\pathname\filename.ext

Thanks... that works. I was using the dialog box to drill down to the
appropriate folder and file. When done from the networked computers it shows
"Server\Shared\Resumes....... but when done from the server it shows
.../Resumes so it's not recognized from the other computers. A small bit of
typing on my part but not a show stopper!
