Our computers are networked and use a central file server computer running
Windows Server 2003 Std Edition SP 1 and our desktop & laptop computers are
running Windows 2000 & Windows XP using Office 2002 & 2003.
I need to hyperlink publisher documents to a table in both Word and Excell,
however when I create a hyperlink using Insert/Hyperlink, then CTL Click to
follow the hyperlink I get the following message "Publisher cannot find the
file you specified. The next dialogue box will let you browse to locate to
locate the file on your hard disk or floppy disk."
I now also have the same problem with hyperlinks created in previous
versions of Excell when they should be accessing Publisher Documents.
Is there a problem with Publisher and is there a fix or update yet?
Otherwise can you please tell me how to avoid this happening and how to fix
my existing hyperlinks to Publisher documents.
Any assistance would be appreciated as we are a Quality Assured Organisation
coming up to an Audit and do not want version upgrades causing our system to
fail the audit.
