hyperlink screen tips should show in PPT viewer

I've packaged a presentation for CD using PPT 2K3. When the veiwer displays the presentation the hyperlinks' screen tips on my slides (which go to a slide within the same presentation) do not display on mouseover. I've checked that I have everything set correctly and can't find anything wrong. When I play the slideshow from PowerPoint the screen tips work fine. Is there anything I can do to get the screen tips to work in the veiwer?


I've learned that this is the way things work in viewer. It would be great if the screen tips would show in PPT viewer.

Yup. That's a good place to make suggestions.

But Teresa's using the new web interface to the newsgroups, and it has a "suggestion" option to label a post as a suggestion for Microsoft.

Community members can "vote" on suggestions via the web interface by choosing Yes to the "Was this post helpful" option when viewing the posts. For this one, the direct link is http://www.microsoft.com/office/com...oint&mid=481fa0e3-c612-443f-893b-e5c9b90b4e47

(Yeah, I wish that "Was this post helpful" actually said something more like "Would you like to see this suggestion implemented?" but I guess we're stuck with it for now, at least.)
