Hyperlink in Outlook mail not openning in browser

I am using Outlook 2007 and for the pass two days when clicking on a
hyperlink within a mail instead of openning the link in a browser window I
get the warning ' This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in
effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator'. The
computer only has one user me and I do all the settings and I don't think I
have made any changes. Visa, Office2007 and IE8 Beta. Anyone got any ideas?

Reset your default browser via Start-> Default Programs

Robert, thanks for the info. Have tried your suggestion but still the same.
Can not open links within mail.

Do you have another browser installed as well?
Switch the defaults to that browser and then switch it back to Internet
Explorer. That should reset it correctly as well.

If not; disable all the default assignments to IE, apply the changes and
then apply them again.

Note that there is also an RC build of Internet Explorer and that RTM will
be available for download very very soon. This might correct your current
issue as well.

Hi Robert, did as you suggested and the message has now changed.
"General Failure. The URL was "-------". The system cannot find the file
specified"
