Hyperlink in Notes page

Hi,

I have simple question. How can I create hyperlink in notes to a slide?
When I select some text in Notes Page view and right click it, the Hyperlink
option is grayed...
The same is when I select the text in Notes in Normal view.
Is it even possible?

No, unfortunately, you can't add hyperlink on notes.

Even thru some macro or some vba script?
I am asking because I saw a hyperlink in one file I was working on...But I
am not sure if this file was created in PowerPoint or just imported somehow
by another application...

Mind sending the particular slide with the hyperlinked notes to
pptheaven[at]gmail.com? (Replace [at] with @)

It is really WORKING hyperlink placed in Notes page. There is nothing else in
the Notes page, just the link. It can be opened by right clicking it and
using Open Hyperlink. Hyperlink is working in Notes page view only, NOT in
the comments in Normal view. There it looks as ordinary text...
I sent already the slide to tohlz

Interesting find there.
It's not possible to add a hyperlink on the notes in PowerPoint.
However, OpenOffice allows you to do that. Typing an email or link will
automatically convert it to a hyperlink.

Now, here's the tricky part. There's actually a workaround to create
hyperlink in PowerPoint (did some testing since the link is working on notes
page in PowerPoint).
To create the hyperlink, first go into normal view and type your link or
email on a textbox. Once you get the hyperlink, highlight the link and click
Edit > Copy.
You can either go into View > Notes page, or click on the "Click to add
notes".
Then, click Edit > Paste Special > HTML Format or Formatted Text (formatted
text only works in View > Notes page).

Hope this helps.

Good job :)
I was trying to copy that hyperlink, but didn't try to paste it as HTML
format...

Thanks
