Hyperlink annoyance

E

Eli Cain

I am using powerpoint 2007 creating a presentation. Within the presentation
I created hyperlinks to go directly to other program slides within the same
presentation. When I position the mouse over the "action button", a dialog
box appears showing the hyperlink destination i.e. C:\documents and
settings\project\open introduction pptx#1, slide 1. How do I prevent the
dialog box from appearing?
Will someone help me please?

Select the button, right click and go to hyperlink. At the top of the dialog
box, you will see the ScreenTip button. Click it and replace the path with a
space. Do not just delete the text, it will re-populate the field. Ok your
way out and now you will see only a small yellow box instead of the
destination string.
