Hypelink not showing hand symbol?

Hi,
I have created a hyperlink in a word document.But when i keep the mouse
focus on the hyperlink its not showing the hand symbol.I have to press 'Ctrl'
key to get the hand symbol.

Does any one knows how get the hand symbol for Hyperlink without pressing
'Ctrl' key.

Update: in microsoft Word for 365, the path to this same solution is file/options/advanced/Use Ctrl + click to follow hyperlink. However this turns on the feature that the OP is trying to turn off, no?
