Huge Logfile (16 GB and growing)

B

Ben Blount

I need help. Every time I boot up my computer a log file
in the C:\WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles\WMI\trace.log grows
about 50 megs a second. It continues to do so until it
has grown to 16 GB and I have 0 bytes of free space. I
have talked to several people about this and they think
its a problem with the global logger. I just need to
disable that log. I've even tried deleting it in the
recovery console which worked until I went into windows
again where the log was recreated and began growning
again. Any help would be greatly appriciated! Please
email me at (e-mail address removed) if you have a solution
for me!!
