huge blank space

I have a report that has 4 subreports. Data shows and then moves to the next
page to show next set of data on 2nd subreport. How can the report be
hindered from doing this.

Do you have Can Grow and Can Shrink set on the Subreport Control? Do you
have Can Shrink set on the Detail Section? Do you have force New Page
specified anywhere? Do you have a New Page control?

Without detailed information, we can only guess. But just FYI: No,
Subreports do not automatically start on a new page.
