Http 500 error ?

Having trouble setting up and running a personal website on my computer.
Start IIS, but when I attempt to use "http:''localhost/website.shtml" I keep
getting "http 500 error . . ." Can't seem to figure this one out? Running
XP Pro.

Are "shtml" (SSI - server side include) pages supported onthe local
configuration of IIS?

Is it a *.shtml and not just a normal *.html page?
