HTTP 400 - Bad Request

Any suggestions why I just started receiving this error message from IE 6 on
only ONE site, The NY Times??

HTTP 400 - Bad Request
Internet Explorer

System is Win XP Pro

It's not the HOST file, I deleted that, have reinstalled the inf file, run
sfc /scannow, etc.

Everything else with IE 6 and OE is fine. I'm at wits end!

Thanks,

Bill

Absolutely NOT! We both know Norton anti virus is a disaster and McAfee is
not far behind. I've shut down everything that might even hint at a
conflict. Something strange going on with MSIE 6. Firefox will access the
site just fine but not MSIE. Fortunately, it's not a big deal, I'm just a
perfectionist. I was sure it was the HOST file but not so. Even the
registry has been cleaned of all NYTIMES entries.

Beats me!

You got it PA BEAR!!!

I went back, double checked and found one more NYT reg entry lurking. I
deleted it and all cookies again and now it's just fine. Accessed NYT as it
should. Could have been the last reg entry or a cookie but in any case I'm
pleased it's fixed!

Thanks for the suggestion!
