HTML troubles

Hi,

I am trying to use HTML in an e-mail, just for fun, to try and spruce up my e-mail signature. However, this is hardly straight forward and so far my efforts haven't worked.

I googled it, and the main option was to create the webpage in MS Word, and then use word facilities to send the html page as an e-mail.

However, whenever I try and add some simply html code such as <marquee> hello world </marquee> the MS word document displays a huge red cross, and my code seems to be gone from the HTML source. Although strangely, if I open the file in internet explorer, the marquee code functions correctly. Just in Word it shows the red cross. Why is this happening??

Thanks,
