Html grabber that appends? (i.e., IE Text Archiver equivalent for html)

One good thing about changing the way one does something is that it
opens up an opportunity. All the wonderful suggestions here some
weeks back re appending text copied off websites didn't work in the
case of appending to one document. But that was files in text format.

As I now have Dir2HTML and am finding that working with HTML
completely is preferable, just got to thinking that there might be an
automated way to do this re HTML? I like how we just select text and
right-click to access IE Txt Arch. It then copies the selected data to
a text file including URL and date/time of capture. Is there an
equivalent HTML archiver that is as easy to use yet _does_ append to
one html target file we assign instead of one file per capture? Heck,
doesn't hurt to ask. Just because I've not found one, doesn't mean
there isn't one out there. Cheers! :blush:D

Reread the aforementioned thread.

Reread the aforementioned thread.

<?> You lost me, Bill. Which thread would that be?

Again, IE Text Archiver-style way of saving selected text from
websites would be preferred. However, also having ability to append
to one document would be ultimate.

Cheers!

Didn't mean to be cryptic. See the thread from Sept. that you added
to yesterday: "IE text archiver that appends to ONE txt file
_only_...".

Read my post there for information on achieving IE6 compatability for
eNotes and for other suggestions besides eNotes.

When on a web page, I select text and images of interest and use "Take
an eNote" context menu option. That prepends the URL and date to the
selected data. This unit is in turn prepended to
html in a C:\eNotes\my-enotes.htm

A completely OT excerpt from my current eNotes.htm that I sent to my
brother. The spacing is awkward because it matches the original.

OT: The first item at this link today is "Microsoft Launches Google
News Competitor" in the UK. I can't look at the beta -- presumably
because MS knows I'm in the US.

Amphibious Sports Car Shatters Water Speed Record
The Aquada was unveiled in London today, and goes on sale next year.
Unlike other amphibious cars, the $235,000 Aquada looks like a hot
sports car, will actually be available for sale to the public, and
goes 48 mph -- on the water!
