Hello, I have bought a HP 1210 and I have a USB cable
cord that was required to purchase, unfortunately, I
can't print from computer to the printer. I am having
very much difficulty setting this up on the computer, the
software is reading that the cord is plugged in wrong or
something. The cord is a USB 2.0 device cable. 6ft. and
the computer model is a Compaq Presario 900 with windows
XP installed. Please help me with this problem.

I'd go to www.hp.com click on the live support chat online under the support
link and ask an agent. You may have to wait awhile but the online is pretty
good. Gets you an answer fast. Catt
