If anyone has the HP F-4180 printer can you help me with the solution center
software.
I have the printing, and scanning working great and also the copy function
from the control Panel of the printer itself .no problem

My problem is if I click on the HP solution Center software and click on
copy I get a pop up box that says Device not responding or disconnected .
The printer has paper . It is turned on and all lights are green for go
I do not have a settings drop down either for the copy function in the
solution center .
If you have this printer can you copy from the software.?
I have version 8.0 and HP update says no more recent updates available.
Maybe this printer cannot copy from the software as its the same software
for all 4100 series printers but I cannot find this anywhere

Hello,

I am not so familiar with your printer. But the problems seems to be
the software for HP Solution Center 8.0.
A few possibilities are: install once again your features from your
installation cd, or maybe a step before the installation: to uninstall
the software.
Or sometimes it will help to get a new installation cd from HP. To
order it from internet for example.

Succes.
