HP Printer Drivers Applicable Vista

Hi:

HP finally came through with Vista drivers for apparently a lot of HP
printers, as the driver is now included in the Windows Vista OS. Go to
http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html to check out your specific
printer.

I just checked on the Officejet 6110 All-In-one and found this info out.
It is now supported by Vista.

Additional Note:

I wish that Sony would do the same for the driver applicable Sony Multimedia
MPEG Real Time Encoder Board, as it's the only item holding me up from
upgrading my Sony VGC-RA716G desktop. I have been unable to find any
definitive info from Sony about this.It looks by now they would provide some
type info on this issue.

I have a inkjet CP1700 and a Laserjet 1220 with scanner, why is it I can
print fine on my laser printer but my scanner can not be detected and my
CP1700 that print to 13x19 on the printer driver will not go past letter /
leagle and if you make a custom size the program quits and restarts. You
would have thought that when I installed my okidata C3200 was installed why
is it when it's maximum size is leagle why has it a setting for tabloyed?

If some one can please email reply back if they know of another driver that
would be greatfull.

Paid twice for Vista returned one found my computer was not good enough paid
$640 for memory, new mother board, cpu. found out that because the ati xpress
200 graphics card was incompatible with startup and install replaced that
another $120 on a $50 motherboard and to top it I need a new graphics card
because new motherboard did not have agp. So after spending $800 on the
computer I don't want to buy new printers as well as they are working
perfectly with xp!

not a great speller I'm affraid sorry...

This is what HP says on their website for the LJ1220 AllinOne:

<< 6 - Yes. Your product is supported. Drivers for HP printers are
included with the Microsoft Windows Vista Operating System. Additional
software will be available soon.

HP has a driver solution available for your product.

HP is committed to providing the best experience for HP products in the
Windows Vista operating environment.

Currently, a full-solution driver is not available for your product.
However, we do have an alternative driver solution that you can
conveniently find in Microsoft Windows Vista. This driver will enable
your product's basic functions to work and can be used until the full
driver solution is available.

Full-solutions will be available as early as January 2007. HP expects
to complete the certification process for applicable software by July
2007. Solutions will be posted as they become available.

Click here to recieve e-mail updates from HP when a solution is
available.

HP aspires to provide the most up-to-date information on HP drivers and
software. Please check back soon for updates.

NOTE: If your printer currently uses either a PCL5, PCL6 or
PostScript XP driver you may download the current XP driver from HP to
provide printing functionality. Windows Vista printing is very similar
to Windows XP and most print drivers supported in XP environment for
LaserJet printers may also work in the Windows Vista operating system.
A lot of that is blah blah but it indicates they intend to have full
drivers available. I would recommend signing up on their website to be
notified when drivers are available. I am on their email list for
support.

You might be able to get your scanner working by using TWAIN but I
can't give you any help for your all in one -- I've always steered
clear of them because if part fails all has to be repaired.
