HP Laserjet companion scanner

Hello,
Thank you for the replies on my inquiry.
This was a companion unit (scanner) that hooked onto
a printer. The replies were correct. There are no drivers
past Win98 for this unit. Is there an older simple sheet fed
HP scanner that you would recommend for XP? I don't care
about color or high DPI. I just want easy software.
thanks,
jim

The real question is how much money are you willing to pay for a standalone
scanner?

You can get quality flatbed scanners starting at around $50.
And can spend several hundred dollars for scanners that will scan medium
format film.

Decide what you want the scanner to be capable of, then find your price
range.
