Hp flat bed scanner with usb powered ?

Hi,
I'm looking for a HP flat bed scanner which is usb powered (no
seperate AC adaptor). On HP site I can't find any :-(. I'm pretty
surprised.
Anyone knows about a specific HP model which is usb powered with 2400
dpi resolution ?

The only USB powered scanners are the Canon LiDE series.

The Canon CanoScan LiDE 80 is 2400 DPI.
The Canon CanoScan LiDE 500F is 2400 DPI.

You would really be living dangerously doing that. Those tiny
little pins on a motherboard are just not adequate. Lots of
motherboards have been burnt up due to excessive power consumption.
