I have recieved a CD that shows 0 bytes free space and 0 bytes total size.
When I put it on my old PC (98) it showed 656 bytes used a 0 free bytes. In
both cases nothing showed in the window. Can I do something to able this CD
to be compatable with my XP?

It has probably been burned in a packet-writing program like DirectCD
and not finalised to look like a regular CD. XP can read these as
burned by *some* versions of packet-writing (short of installing a
compatible package) , but not all. Try the UDF Volume reader from

(bottom of page)
