Hp 1120c and XP error message

Purchased XP, discovered HP1120c printer is not supported because HP says it is too old (4 Years)
Printer still works well in b&w but not colou
Problem is that XP keeps searching for a printer driver that doesn't exist.
(Cannot find $(SPOOL2DRIVERSPATH)HPWSheihlp.file)
How can I get rid of XP message every time I boot computer and still have printer connecte
for b&w print?
