I have just installed my old HD as a slave drive on my new computer but don't
know how to access my files. Access is denied to my old account seeing how it
was password protected on my last computer. Can someone tell me what to do?

In XP Home you have to boot in safe mode to see the security tab. In XP Pro
you have to disable simple file sharing.

You need to take ownership of the files in the old account. You can also
copy data from the old account to the new account. These articles show the
