How to with SBS 2003?

1) enable DirectX features and accelration? Defualt is disabled
2) elliminate the Reason why for Shutdown messages?

Couple years ago I read an article that gave a guide how to set WIN 2K3 to
XP settings.

Enable the themes services.

I leave the shutdown reason.. you kinda want to know why your server
shut down.. it should rarely happen...it's a Server you know...it should
be on 24/7 ..not a workstation.

Navigate to Computer Configuration>Administrative Templates>System
Disable "Display Shutdown Event Tracker"

You should not do this, a server is a server.....a workstation is.......yes, you guessed it - a workstation

if you must though...you will find that hardware acceleration is turned right down on a vanilla install (of server '03, the windows audio service is also stopped - assume its the same in SBS) anyway go to display properties>settings>advanced>troubleshoot>hardware acceleration turn this up and THEN you will be able to enable DX features
