Is it possible to use a picture in word as a shortcut for inserting a picture
from file?
(When you click on the picture, the window "Insert -> Picture -> From
File..." appears)

You can also display a picture as the "face" of a macro button that's
inserted inline in your body text.

For example, if you were creating a form for new employees and wanted to use
a placeholder outline of a head to indicate where the picture should go,
you'd create a macro button and use the placeholder as the button image.

The best place for the image is as autotext in the attached template. That
way it's always available to documents based on the template.
