How to use a label template

I am looking to make CD labels in Word 2000. I have been to the Microsoft
site and downloaded a template, but I do not know how to select it from the
Word menu and if I have to save it and and how to save the template. I also
need to know how design the cover for the CD. I would appreciate any advice.
I have never worked with templates before

Save the template into the templates folder (check Tools > Options > File
locations to find where that is: usually C:\Documents and
Settings\[username]\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates).

Then use File > New and select the template.
