how to upgrade from outlook 2000 to outlook 2003 or 2007?

Helene

I just got a new IPhone and after spending hours on my PC and hours on the
phone with the IPhone tech people, I've just been informed that the IPhone
will sync only with Outlook 2003 or 2007.
I have Windows XP and Outlook 2000 on my PC.
How do I upgrade?
Is it expansive?
Should I go for Outlook 2003 or 2007?
Thanks,

2007 is the current version.
I assume you have Office 2000, that being the case Office 2007 standard
upgrade maybe the most cost effective - Assuming you are not in education -
www.amazon.com has, apparently good prices, assuming you are US
Outlook 2007 is available as a single product, but not reccommended if you
use the other Office components, eg Word etc from an earlier version Office

what do you mean by the currently shipping version?

I would definitely get the currently shipping version - it will be supported
longer than 2003.

The most recent version which is also the version that is available in
stores: Outlook 2007.

eBay probably has outlook 2003 - but its not a good investment anymore IMHO.
Also if you have office 2000, upgrade the entire office suite, not just
outlook.
