How to unblock items in windows defender?

I have realized that I allowed some block actions by windows defender that
were not smart (e.g., bloxk some software that I trust and port exemptions
that I trust). How can I undo these actions?

I had tried your suggestion of restoring to an earlier date, but it did not
solve the problem.
What I will try doing is removing WD, then seeing if the problems with
blocked ports disappears. I could then reinstall WD.

I am finding that WD is a double-edged sword. Unless one knows a lot about
technical details, getting all those messages from WD alerting one to changes
in the computer may do more harm than good.

If that doesn't work, the blocked item should be in the WD quarantine.
Please check under tools->Quarantined items, then you can select your
unknown items and restºre.

Yes, that would be logical, except that none of the items I blocked show in
the quarantined area. In fact, there was nothing in the WD quarantine area. I
went ahead and removed WD. Too much of a headache for now.
