How to turn on onboard audio for socket A motherboard

Hi, I just finished putting together a computer using the socket A
motherboard for AMD K7 type processors. Everything is working, except the
onboard audio. There is a setting in the BIOS called the 'Onboard AC'97
Sound' which is enabled, but I still can't get any sound.

You need to install the proper XP drivers. Go to the web site for your
motherboard.
