How to troubleshoot 'unable to load device' error

I just downloaded a PC game. After downloading, I was
required to restart the computer. This is where the
problem surfaced. I was unable to start up the computer;
it always arrive at a blue screen, showing the message:
Stop: c000026c (unable to load device driver)}
\system root\system 32\drivers\swenumsys.device driver
could not be loaded.Error status was: 0xc0000102.
Can anyone help me? Thanx.

Is this a Win2k or XP machine? If so, when you boot and
see the black screen with white boxes increasing along the
bottom, press F8 and choose Last Known Good Configuration.
This should load without your new driver which is causing
the problem. If successful, IMMEDIATELY go to Control
Panel - Add Remove Programs and remove the game which is
causing the problem.
