How to stop people from replying to an email?

How do I restrict my email recipients from replying to the original email sent?

I ideally would like to set up an automated response which will indicate
which email address to send their queries to, rather than replying to a
‘general’ inbox (the email address to which the original email was sent to).

My problem is, that we regularly send out newsletters to our clients, who
are all over the world, and because their questions are general, they tend to
hit reply and ask their question to the email which the newsletter was sent
from. This causes a lot of problems as this email isn’t checked on a
frequent basis.

I would like to send an automated reply stating which account to send their
information to, without receiving the emails in the original inbox? The only
thing I can think of is to set up an ‘out of office’ reply with the
information on, but then their replies will still come into the original
inbox and I wont know if they have diverted their query to one of the one’s
stated?

Is there a way to do this on Outlook?

Thanks in advance

How about if you simply forward all e-mail sent to the "newsletter" address
to another address? I believe you would do that from within Exchange.

You can't.

Include that information in the body of the newsletter and make it a
clickable link.

Send the messages from an unmonitored mailbox and include a Reply-To address
on the account that sends the messages.

That will be their problem. They might have to read your newsletter for a
change and think about what they're doing.

Brian,
You know that folks setting at a computer keyboard don't think before
acting.
