How to Span the Volume of Hard Disk in Win2000

Dear all,
suppose I have a volume as E: Drive in win2000 already. Then I
add a new 40G hard disk. I want to make this new hard disk belongs to
E: drive too. That is I want to add this 40G disk to E Drive(span E:
Drive to this new hard disk).

How could I do that in Win2000 Disk Management. I have tried
to find that function but I cannot find that.

Please help Thanks.

Start with backing up E:, and then deleting it. Next upgrade this disk to
dynamic, create a new volume and restore as E:. Next, upgrade the new disk
to dynamic. Now, you will be able to extend E: to also include the new

Another option might be to mount the new disk as a folder on your current
